M-STEAM Outreach Program is Underway. This is our outreach initiative in collaboration with the Haggerty Museum of Fine Arts. The goal of the program is to provide a platform for the faculty, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to digest and present their science to a group of high and middle school students. These students will then work with the Museum and local artists and present these ideas in the form of art to the general public. High School Students - Summer Research July 2014. Kateline Day (North Sanpete High School, Mt. Pleasant, UT), Isaac Leyva (Academy for Math, Engineering and Science, Salt Lake City, UT), Shania Bitsoie (San Juan High School, Blanding, UT) and Crystal Vejar (Intech Collegiate High School, Logan, UT) participated in laboratory research as part of the Biotechnology Summer Academy at Utah State University.
