2017-2018 SMART Team Presents at ASBMB-San Deigo
"Four Reagan SMART (Students Modeling A Research Topic) Team members - Angelise Puls, Brenden McLaughlin Haralson, Rohit Bhatia and Samantha Pieper - traveled to San Diego this April to present alongside college students at the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) Experimental Biology Annual Meeting. Reagan's SMART Team spent this school year researching Replication Protein A (RPA) in collaboration with Dr. Edwin Antony, from Marquette University. They then brought their research and communication skills to San Diego, where they showcased their scientific poster and their 3D-printed model of Replication Protein A."

This is our outreach initiative in collaboration with the Haggerty Museum of Fine Arts. The goal of the program is to provide a platform for the faculty, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to digest and present their science to a group of high and middle school students. These students will then work with the Museum and local artists and present these ideas in the form of art to the general public.
